I just had to write this e-mail, because last night in Granada was the most incredible night in my life. I had to tell somebody what I felt down there at my chair, with just darkness around me and the magnificent voice of an angel flying from the stage. So I thought there could be no one better than you to say this. I´ve been listening to your songs for the last 10 years of my life, but last night it was the first time I listened to you so near me: it was my first concert. I don´t mean I haven´t gone to any concert, I´ve seen lots of artists live in concert, but I never had the choice to see you, and this was one of those "before I dye" things in my short list. Your concert in Granada was a present from my boyfriend. Last week it was my birthday and he knows me so well and loves me so much than he decided to make this dream come true for me. Don´t you think I have to love him?. Yes, be sure I do.Your voice and your lyrics always bring me joy and peace, and last night they also brought me the tenderness of your eyes. I don´t know if you could ever understand what we who love your music feel while looking at your eyes, following your hands and your hair with our surprised eyes; theres a moment when we think "yes, believe it, she is up there and you are just a few metres from her", and then we fall again in the sweet peace of your music. I just need to thank you for all you are, the greatest artist I´ve ever seen and the most humanitarian and spiritual person I´ve ever heard about. Thank you for your existence. I saw you on the TV, and really enjoyed your song, it is true you dont expedt love, love cames to you... When I was a child i remeber to see the David's star dna your letters, really it was like a dream try undesrtand what were the meaning and when I was ten I promised to myself to visit your country.The time past and as you say, fue sin querer... I felt in love with an israelit men I have been 4 times there, after I herad your song, a woman from Israel singing with my favorite singner, and explaining my history.... Thanks for your songs. Me gustaría que me aconsejaran un cd donde se pueda apreciar su estilo particular. Según parece es más una fusion de varios estilos. Busco algo que tenga componentes a ser posibles líricos o de blues. Iba a comprar el que grabó con La Filarmónica de Israel. ¿Que opinan? Gracias por su atención y felicidades por la Web. The broadcast was from Israel where she performed for Israeli political dignitaries and the visiting American President, Bill Clinton. The occasion was a celebration or visit for peace. Do you know what song she sang? Is there a recording available? Is it possible that you can help me get a recording of the beautiful music she sang? I am American and only know English, so I don't know what the song was (it was not in English, perhaps Hebrew, I think). I am sorry for being so vague, but that was the only time I ever heard of her or heard her sing -- and the sound of her voice has stayed with me. When I heard it, it moved me emotionally and brought tears to my eyes. Can you recommend or locate the recording for me? Thank you, Kathleen |
